Popped down on the opening day of the Singapore Toys, Games & Comics Convention 2010 at Suntec City. It was pretty packed at the midday opening. I managed to score the Soldier Story exclusives that U Toys were selling. There weren’t too shabby. Nice having the STGCC logos on the box art. Would be even better if they had a small STGCC logo patch for the figures! lol

There was even a nice paper bag for the two exclusives.

Toy Carnival is back this Sunday and it promises to be great! There’ll be heaps of toys and comics on display and better yet, cosplayers and free entry to visit SAM at 8Q’s new exhibition, Trans-Cool TOKYO. All about Japanese pop culture. continue reading..

New pics are out from NYCC for Marvel’s 3.75′ figures! There’s the new Marvel Universe X-Men boxset and the Apocalypse figure. And first looks at the Captain America movie figures as well as those from Thor. Captain America does look a bit on the Chunky side compared to the MU figures. Doesn’t seem to look as good.

There’s also Mandarin from Iron Man series, and a new Venom from the Spiderman series. Venom looks good! continue reading..

My latest scores over the past couple of weeks. Hasbro’s Fury of Combat and Amored Assault packs. Love the Nick Fury figure. Will go nicely with my Marvel Universe collection. Also scored Hot Toy’s Black Widow. Can’t wait till the renovation on my room is completed end Oct. Then I will rip open the boxes to display the figures.

I’ve been MIA for awhile due to my travels this month. I came back over the weekend to find this beauty of a figure to complete my Marvel Universe SDCC 2010 Exclusives collection. Nice.

Managed to pick up the Marvel Universe SDCC 2010 exclusives from various sources. The Captain America and Movie Spiderman figures have the new bodies and much better articulation. Ball jointed wrists, better joints for the neck and the ankle as well! I especially like Captain America’s removable helmet and Spiderman’s costume from the movies. Great figures!

What really took my breath away was the Galactus figure! The box and carded packaging is huge! It looks amazing! I haven’t opened him up yet, and I’m contemplating if I should, but from the looks of it he has some pretty good articulation as well.

To give a bit of perspective, you can see how small Captain America is compared to Galactus. He’s a huge figure! Nice…

So now the only figure missing from my SDCC MU Exclusives collection is Thor, I should be getting that next week! Woot! Great figures!
