Unboxed my Mark IV the other day. Was pretty impressed with the movable fingers as well as Tony Stark’s headsculpt. But since the Mark IV armour looks pretty close to the Mark III I already have posed, I decided to have some fun. Forrest Gump, meet Tony Stark! Sweet!

Hot Toys has released preview pics of their new 12′ Inch Thor from the upcoming movie. While it’s tempting, the lack of much accessories and the high possibility that they will release a much better figure and sculpt after the movie is released is holding me back. continue reading..

Christmas came early in Tokyo. The latest pics from the Hot Toys 10th Anniversary Exhibition in Tokyo look great with some new reveals! First was the new licenses, of which I’m excited about Captain America, Batman (Michael Keaton’s Bats) and Indiana Jones.

But the main highlight was seeing some pics of upcoming 12′ inch figures coming out. There’s Raiders of the Lost Ark Indiana Jones, Iron Man Mark V, Iron Monger prototype, Resident Evil Alice and Thor! Thor is looking really good! I’ll let the pics speak for themselves. The latest Marvel Universe wave for 2011 arrived over the weekend at one of the specialty shops. I went down today to pick them up. Really like the new sculpts. Esspecially Iron Man’s new MU body. Sweet!

New pics are out from NYCC for Marvel’s 3.75′ figures! There’s the new Marvel Universe X-Men boxset and the Apocalypse figure. And first looks at the Captain America movie figures as well as those from Thor. Captain America does look a bit on the Chunky side compared to the MU figures. Doesn’t seem to look as good.

There’s also Mandarin from Iron Man series, and a new Venom from the Spiderman series. Venom looks good! continue reading..

Picked upped Marvel Universe Masterworks Galactus at The Falcon’s Hanger yesterday. It’s similar to the SDCC2010 MU Galactus exclusive that I got previously. But this is the retail version and it comes with Silver Surfer. It’s huge toy and unboxing it put a smile on my face.

Also managed to score the elusive 6′ inch Iron Man 2 Mark IV with Tony Stark’s head at OG Albert Court. Sweet.

It’s great when you can mix work with your hobby. The Iron Man CollARTible Exhibition from the 9 Oct – 21 Nov at the Singapore Philatelic Museum showcases works from 21 Artists and features collectible figures from Hot Toys.
