An interesting ComicCon exclusive was announced today by Hasbro. A GI Joe SkyStriker will be redecorated into the Generation 1 Starscream color scheme. Best of all, Cobra Commander will pilot the figure in pilot mode, and will also carry a Generation 1 Megatron in his gun mode as a sidearm. This will make for a nice convention exclusive.

This reminds me of the many Transformers vs GI Joe comics through the years.

The Thor movie is looking good, but I’m not really a fan of the toys. I’m only really interested in one of two. More pics after the jump and a whole lot here and here.

The Captain America Super Bowl trailer renewed my faith in the movie. And the latest Toy Fair pics has renewed my faith in the toy line. The 3.75″ inch figures are looking great and will complement my Marvel Universe figures nicely. Select pics after the jump and more pics here.

New pics are out from Toy Fair 2011 for the upcoming Marvel Universe lines. And boy do they look great! I’m esspecially excited about the Classic Avengers and ‘Fantastic 3′ (yeah, Johnny just died in the comics for those who didn’t know) Packs. There’s also an X-Force pack which isn’t that exciting.

Other individual figures coming out are Darkhawk, Steve Rogers, a Namor resculpt and many others. The MU line has been impressing me with their sculpts, going from strength to strenght. Pretty cool infographic of the cars used by the G1 Autobots.

In just slightly over a month, I’ll be heading to Japan for my 3 week long honeymoon. The plan is to travel to Osaka, Kyoto, Nara and Kobe before ending up in Tokyo. All free and easy of course. Everything is planned, plane tickets and hotels are booked, it’s just the long long wait! urgghhhh.

Rest assured I’ll be updating both my Tokyo links about my trips and toy shops to represent the most updated info and about the various areas I visit during the trip.

So begins the countdown. Woo hoo!

15 not so important facts about sex, thought this was pretty amusing.

I was pretty amazed with the robot design of MP9. Rodimus Prime looks every bit like his character in Transformers The Animated Movie. Though the main drawback of MP9 is his transformation into vehicle mode. It’s complicated and possibly due to QC issues, it’s practically impossible to have all four wheels touching the ground nicely. I’m not the only one having this problem, the forums are full of complaints.

Even with the issues, MP9 is a winner in my eyes. I’ll be leaving him posed as in the pictures, cause his vehicle and trailer mode aren’t anything special anyway. Every prime needs a nemesis, and Rodimus’s is Galvatron. MP10? I sure hope so!
