Some new Marvel Universe figures were announced today at SDCC for 2011. There’s the giant Sentinel and figures like Spiderman 2099, Spidergirl and heaps more!

They already made a Rhino figure in 3.75 in the Spider-man line (two different color schemes actually) so they won’t likely make one for the MU line any time soon. As for Lizard….he’ll probably show up in the Spider-Man line before he hits the MU line also. That’s fine with me as long as they give him some decent articulation and detailing. For some reason they seem to go cheaper (especially with joints) on the Spider-Man line than they do for the rest of the Marvel Universe stuff or even the separate Iron Man lines. Most of the Spider-Man line has very few joints and they aren’t even great joints.
But PLEASE Marvel, let’s get some more villains in these lines. And some case packs of henchmen (troop builders anyone?)
I can’t believe they’er making the Giant Man that got killed by the Thor clone! He looks so freaking cool! And is that a Frost Giant?! By Odin’s beard that’s pretty cool. And two different color schemes for Sentinals that both look pretty awesome!
Personally though, I’m most looking forward to some SHIELD cars and Avenger Quinjets (perhaps even a Helicarrier to rival the Pit from the GI Joe movie line!!!?!?!)
