It’s been a pretty quiet month for toy shopping. Helps me to save for the big ticket items coming up soon. I got the revoltech Alien figure and the WST Communicator (Shockwave). Two small but pretty cool figures.

If you haven’t already heard, Hot Toys has announced their Mark IV figure. I didn’t originally plan to get this, but after looking at the new armor, damm I fell to temptation.

Yakitori, skewers of chicken, beef, etc. cocked over a charcoal flame. Simple food if you ask me. Add in some beer or sake together with that, and it’s the perfect pub food. One place to check out is Yakitori Doori in Shinjuku. It’s right next to the train tracks.

Ginza, possibly one of the most famous shopping streets in the world. On an average day, it’s teeming with shoppers going in and out the shopping malls. On the weekends the main road is closed to traffic to create a giant walkway for pedestrians.

Got my iPad and case this morning. It’s a surprise to see how small it really is. Not bad small, but from the pics on the internet, I just thought it would be bigger. The iPad is really a beauty, the screen’s rich colours really stand out. The weight isn’t an issue for me, even if some reviewers thought it was a tad bit heavy. It’s much lighter than any other similar device out there.
