Latest pics for ROTF from the Toy Fair 2009 are out! And Devastator looks chunky! The toy is supposed to be huge, though unfortunately it’s been announced that the Devastator toy wont have separate parts that can transform to both robot and vehicle, only vehicle modes. There will be other toys with will have both but cant combined! WTF??
Constructions
Six different alternate figures connect to make Devastator.
The Big combiner takes up space – 2 ft high, about 4 ft wide.
Becuase is huge there are no secondary (robot) mode just alt and the combiner limbs.
There will be other figures that have full robot and alternate modes.

Still… i think Devastator looks great. Pity about the no separate transforming individual Constructicons though.
Yeah,, it sucks about the transforming bit, bit I’m looking forward to seeing how huge it is. heh.. Will most probably be the only figure from ROTF range that I get.
DESTRUCTICONS!!!!!!!! guess no one watched the original cartoon? This new version is horific compared to the classic….. and how did mix master still get killed in the movie, when devastator was crawling up the pyramid…… maks no sense… FAIL!!!!!
Because there are multiples of each decepticon. makes sense to me. there was a new mh53 pavelow helicopter and it was a different character… i think in the movie you see mixmaster get killed, but the constructicon vehicles i think are supposed to be drones that combine to form a single consciousness; devastator. thats how i take it anyways.

I agree devastator crashed and burned a bit too easy. But hey, the movie TFs are a tad bit different. Loved the robot crunching action though, actually seeing TFs being ripped apart on screen……. Bay rocks!
