They are finally releasing Band of Brothers in Blu-ray on 11 Nov! I’ve been a pretty big fan of this hit war drama. And seeing it on High Definition will definitely enhance the experience.
The new set will span 6 Blu-ray discs as well as new extra features including exclusive Picture-in-Picture Commentary and Interactive Field Guide.

I just came across this pretty interesting and funny story of the travelling Gnome. Apparently this elderly couple from Gloucester had their garden Gnome stolen from them 11 mths ago. But to their surprise, the Gnome reappeared on their doorstep one day with a nicely wrapped photoalbum chronicling his adventures around the world. Apparently over 3 continents and 12 countries! The Gnome said it best in his letter to the couple,
Hello! First of all I feel I should explain my prolonged absence. A gnome’s life is full of time for reflection, and whilst surveying your garden one summer morning, I began to get itchy feet.
‘I came to the conclusion that the world is a big place and there is more to life than watching the daily commuter traffic, and allowing passing cats to urinate on you.
‘So I decided to free myself from the doldrums of the Shire and seek adventure. My travels have taken me across three continents, 12 countries and more time zones than I can possibly remember.
‘There have been high points, low points, and positively terrifying points. But I have survived – small thanks to the companion with whom I have shared all these moments.

Singapore Cable Car!
My first post using the wordpress app from the iTunes app store! The wonders of 3G & the iPhone. I’ve been having a blast checking out the features n downloading apps. Sure, the iPhone has it’s shortcomings, but it really is multimedia convergence at it’s best! I’ll be hoping to use my iPhone during my ICT next week to check mail n surf. 
We knew it would come eventually. But the preview pics take the cake! The helmet opens ups to Stark’s face! Awesome!
Got this figure over the weekend and spent more of Saturday night putting it together. Will get around to taking some pics soon. But it sure is a beauty, looks like Edward Norton me thinks.

Only slightly more than a day to the launch in Singapore. Got my collection email and will be joining in the fun on Thursday midnite. First time a phone has been launched like this in Singapore. Kudos to Singtel. There’s also this strange glass cube structure being built next to the ComCentre (location of midnite madness). Could this be for the launch? nice…… Some pics of the email and glass cube below.
