With The Dark Knight opening in theaters around the world tomorrow, I’m beginning to feel the hype surrounding the movie. All the reviews have given it top marks, with words like spectacular, amazing and stunning being used. But Joshua from Geeks of Doom sums it up in his review.
“Every now and again I would wonder what it was like for my father and his generation to have the Star Wars movies, the anticipation, the newness, the geekish waiting in line. But more than that, what it was like to be among the first to see one of the greatest movies of their time.
With the release of The Dark Knight, the sequel to Christopher Nolan’s Batman Begins, I think I finally have that experience and knowledge.”
Nuff said huh, well I’m watching it on Friday night in Singapore’s largest theater, GV Max at vivocitry. Can’t wait.
Going with the flow of things, I headed down with Shaun to Taka today to take a look at Taka’s toy sale. Nothing great at all. But I took the chance to grab 3 Batman Graphic Novels I’ve been eying for ages. I’ve read them previously, but never owned them. So today was the day.
