iPhone 3G Launch

The iPhone 3G was launched around the world over the weekend. Apparently even today there are queues of people waiting in line to grab the latest gadget from apple. So far, reviews have been positive. Even if the phone lacks in some areas (MMS, only 2MP cam, etc.), it is a blast in many others. Coupled together with Apple’s new MobileMe service, the phone aims to compete with the other business phones in the market.

The big question is when the phone will launch in Singapore. Singtel announced September previously, but now rumours are saying the phone could be in shops as early as 9 August. The App Store has already launched locally, so the phone can’t be far off. All signs point to the impending launch. I for one can’t wait. :)

Some pics of the new phone. Black or white? hrmmm the white one is kinda calling out to me….

Seeing the world thru new eyes

Been MIA the past few days due to my Lasik op. Had to rest the eyes over the weekend. The procedure was painless and over in minutes! The healing process had a bit of irritation, but on the whole, was easy peasy.

I did my op at the Eagle Eye Centre. Dr Julian Theng attended to me. The staff and Doc was first class. Service was great and they really made you feel at ease. My eyesight is healing and getting back to 6/6 vision. Feels great to wake up and see everything clearly. :)
